Ishlovchi is a term used in Uzbek-language contexts to designate a person who operates machinery or oversees a process. The word is formed from ish (work) and the suffix -lovchi, meaning "one who performs" or "operator." In practice, ishlovchi denotes an operator or implementer in industrial, agricultural, and service settings.

A typical ishlovchi is responsible for starting and stopping equipment, monitoring indicators, and adjusting controls to maintain specified output, quality, and safety. They read gauges and charts, record data, perform routine inspections and basic maintenance, and report faults or deviations to supervisors. They follow safety procedures, wear protective gear, and work under supervision or as part of a production team. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions.

Ishlovchi roles appear in many sectors, including manufacturing plants, energy facilities, construction sites, and large farms.
