Insertion Lookup is a variety of chemical search and discovery tools developed by OpenEye Scientific Software. This software platform allows users to browse a massive database of commercially available chemical compounds and search for matches based on a variety of properties and characteristics.

The core functionality of Insertion Lookup is its ability to perform fast, accurate searches of the OpenEye Chemical Search Database (OEChemDB). This database contains a vast catalog of over 600 million compounds, indexed rapidly and accurately using OpenEye's proprietary Fast Chemical Search (FPS) technology. Users can submit multiple compounds or a range of compounds and retrieve all similar compounds that meet specified criteria, such as chemical structure, biological activity, or physical properties.

Insertion Lookup can be used in a variety of applications, including chemical library management, compound registration, and receptor-ligand binding site exploration.
