Formally, a hüperbaarset for a universe U is a sequence (F0, F1, F2, …) of set families such that F0 consists of basic building blocks (such as simple subsets of U) and Fi is contained in Fi+1 for all i. Each layer adds new subsets and may refine previously defined ones. The union of all Fi provides a layered panorama of subsets whose growth mirrors increasing resolution, often with rules to control redundancy and overlap. In typical constructions, every element of U appears in subsets at sufficiently high layers, enabling multi-scale analysis.

Example: Let U = {a, b, c}. A simple hüperbaarset might start with F0 = {∅, {a}, {b}, {c}}; F1 adds {a, b}, {a, c}, {b, c}; F2 adds {a, b, c}.
