Hõbevalge is an Estonian adjective that literally translates to "silver white." It is used to describe colors or objects that combine a pale white with a subtle metallic or silvery sheen. The word derives from the Estonian nouns hõbe (silver) and valge (white). In everyday language, sõd rum, “hõbevalge” is frequently applied to describe natural elements such as moonlit snow, pearl surfaces, or the iridescent coat of certain fish species. It can also describe synthetic materials, for example certain plastics, paints, or lighting fixtures that exhibit a reflective, milky glow.

In Estonian literature and poetry the term often evokes a sense of understated elegance and purity.
