Hværr is a coastal district and cultural region in the northern archipelago of Norvale, a fictional setting used in fantasy literature and games. It encompasses a string of fjord-filled islands along the southern coast of Grímr and is known for its maritime heritage and rugged landscapes.

The terrain includes exposed headlands, basalt cliffs, and dense pine forests; the climate is subpolar with frequent mists and strong winds from the Storm Sea. The name hværr is derived from an Old Norse form meaning "edge" or "shore," reflecting its coastal character.

Historically, hværr was governed by a line of chieftains, later absorbed into the Norvalic Confederation; today it has an elected council with limited autonomy.

Economy centers on small-scale fishing, especially herring and salmon, as well as boatbuilding and timber crafts. Cultural life centers on the Tide Festival, held around midsummer, featuring ship parades, sea shanties, and carving. Landmarks include the Pillar of Grímr, a basalt sea stack, and the old harbor of Lómar, now a market town.
