hozzádunk

Hozzádunk is not a standard Hungarian word. In ordinary Hungarian, the preposition hoz- forms directional phrases with personal pronouns as separate, grammatically regular forms such as hozzám (to me), hozzád (to you, singular), hozzá (to him/her), hozzánk (to us), hozzátok (to you, plural), and hozzájuk (to them). The form hozzádunk would attempt to fuse hozzád with the first-person plural suffix -unk, which is not part of standard Hungarian inflection. Consequently, hozzádunk does not appear in normative grammar and is typically regarded as incorrect or nonstandard. If encountered, it is usually a typo, a mistaken transcription, or a coined term used as a proper noun, for example as a brand name, a project title, or a fictional character name.

Linguistically, the case illustrates how Hungarian uses postpositional forms with hoz- to express direction toward a referent; the correct directional forms must align with the intended referent’s person and number (e.g., hozzánk for “to us”).

If used as a proper noun, the form would ordinarily be capitalized, and its meaning would be determined by context rather than grammar. In standard Hungarian writing, one should prefer hozzám, hozzád, hozzá, hozzánk, hozzátok, or hozzájuk depending on the intended referent.
