Happamina is a fictional amine-based compound used in neuropharmacology thought experiments and science fiction to illustrate how a mood-modulating molecule might operate in the brain. The name combines “happiness” with the chemical suffix -amina, following conventions used for neurotransmitter-like substances.

In invented models, happamina is a lipophilic monoamine with a tertiary amine and an aromatic ring, enabling passage across the blood–brain barrier. It is depicted as acting on a hypothetical receptor family called HAP receptors, or as a modulator of monoaminergic neurons in limbic circuits that regulate emotion and motivation.
