Hamilelie is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Liliaceae, containing a single species, Hamilelie aurora. It is described as native to the montane forests of the fictional Tethria Archipelago, where it grows as a herbaceous perennial from a bulb.

Description: Hamilelie aurora typically reaches 40–70 cm in height. Leaves are glossy, lanceolate, and arranged in two ranks along the stem. The inflorescence is a loose raceme bearing pendulous, bell-shaped flowers with five petals. Flowers range from pale pink to lavender, with a darker throat and a white midline stripe. The bulb measures about 3–4 cm in diameter.

Habitat and ecology: It favors cool, damp, humus-rich soils with partial shade, often under evergreen canopy. It forms associations with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Bees and other early-summer pollinators visit the blooms. Seed production is followed by gravity-based dispersal and occasional small mammal transport.

Taxonomy and nomenclature: The genus name Hamilelie is derived from the fictional botanist Hamilelius, while the species epithet aurora refers to the dawn-colored flowers.
