grosz
Grosz is the subunit of the Polish currency, the złoty. One złoty is equal to 100 groszy. Grosz coins, along with złoty banknotes, are issued and circulated by the National Bank of Poland. In everyday Poland, prices are often expressed to the nearest grosz, and cash transactions may involve rounding rules for very small amounts.
