Grindvorms is a term found in Dutch-language technical literature describing a category of tools and fixtures used to define or reproduce a grinding contour on a workpiece. The word is a compound of grind and vorm (shape). In practice, grindvorms refer to either templates, guides, or fixtures that constrain the motion of a grinding operation so that the resulting surface profile matches a predefined form.
