gotlandica

Gotlandica is a Latinized epithet used in biological nomenclature to indicate a connection to Gotland, an island in the Baltic Sea that belongs to Sweden. In taxonomy, gotlandica is the second part of a binomial species name (the species epithet) and signals that the species was described from Gotland or is otherwise associated with that locality.

The epithet is employed across different groups of organisms, including plants, animals, and microorganisms.
