Glykoliga is a term encountered in some chemistry discussions to denote a class of ligands derived from glycols that coordinate to metal centers through oxygen donors. It is not established in formal nomenclature, and many researchers prefer the more descriptive labels glycol ligands, diol ligands, or polyol ligands.

Typical glykoliga are multidentate, attaching through two or more oxygen atoms from diol or polyol backbones. The coordination chemistry of these ligands tends to form stable chelate rings, often five- or six-membered, with transition metals such as iron, copper, nickel, ruthenium, or lanthanides.
