färgåtergivning
Färgåtergivning, or color rendering, refers to the ability of a light source to reproduce the colors of an object faithfully. When a light source illuminates an object, the object absorbs certain wavelengths of light and reflects others. The reflected light reaches our eyes, and we perceive the color of the object. A light source with good color rendering will emit a spectrum of light that allows objects to appear in their true colors. Conversely, a light source with poor color rendering may cause colors to look distorted, washed out, or shifted.
The quality of color rendering is often measured using the Color Rendering Index (CRI). The CRI is
Several factors influence color rendering, including the spectral power distribution of the light source. Light sources
