fuus
Fuus, also known as FUUS or FUUS-2, is a constellation proposed by astronomer Michael Motta in 2019. It is situated in the southern celestial hemisphere, near the constellation Apus. The constellation's name is derived from the Latin word for "smoke" or "vapor." Motta's proposal for FUUS was based on observations made using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile. The primary star that forms the core of FUUS is HD 10180.
The proposed constellation FUUS is intended to encompass a region of the sky that contains several exoplanets.
As of now, FUUS is not officially recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), which is the
