Funduscorpus is not a standard term in contemporary medical nomenclature. It may appear in some texts as a combined descriptor for the fundus and corpus—the domed upper portion and the main body—of a hollow visceral organ, most often the stomach or the uterus.

In the stomach, the fundus is the dome-shaped proximal section that lies above and to the left of the gastroesophageal junction; the corpus forms the central, main body. The boundary between fundus and corpus is not sharply defined and varies among individuals; radiologic and surgical descriptions may group them as a single "fundus-corpus" region.

In the uterus, fundus refers to the broad, dome-shaped superior portion, extending above the openings of the fallopian tubes; the corpus (or body) is the main central portion forming most of the uterine mass. Again, the division is anatomical rather than a distinct structure, and "funduscorpus" is not a formal term in gynecologic anatomy.

Usage: If encountered, it generally indicates a description covering both the fundus and corpus of the organ; for precise communication, clinicians typically specify fundus and corpus separately, or refer to "fundus uteri" and "corpus uteri" or "fundus of the stomach" and "body (corpus) of the stomach".
