Franc Parler (c. 1270–1339) was a prominent French architect and master mason whose career bridged the transition between the late Romanesque and the High Gothic styles of the early 14th century. Little is known of his early life, but it is believed that he was trained in the workshops of the influential Parler family of master masons, and that he received instruction in Bruges and Paris, where he developed a reputation for technical skill and architectural innovation.
