Floor6 is an American indie pop duo that emerged from Brooklyn, New York in 2017. The group is composed of vocalist and guitarist Maya Torres and drummer and producer Leonard Kim, who met while studying at the New School’s music program. Together they crafted a sound that blends lo‑fi guitar loops, introspective lyrics, and an aesthetic reminiscent of late‑1990s pop punk and contemporary indie folk.

The band released their debut self‑titled EP, Floor6, in 2018, which was distributed through the independent label Quiet Quiet Records. The EP received favorable reviews from niche blogs and playlists on streaming platforms, helping the duo amass a dedicated following among listeners of bedroom pop and indie rock. Their sophomore project, the full‑length album Echoes in 2020, expanded their sonic palette with layered synthesizers and more complex song structures.
