Filérl is a hypothetical modular file encoding and transport format designed for scalable data storage and transfer in distributed systems. It employs a chunked data model with an embedded metadata envelope and built-in integrity checks to support streaming, random access, and long-term preservation of digital objects.

The architecture centers on a filérl file that begins with a header containing version, origin, and validation rules, followed by a sequence of data chunks called filéls. Each filél carries a small header with its length, a checksum, and optional flags for compression or encryption. A separate manifest records chunk order, compression scheme, provenance, and access controls, enabling verification and partial retrieval without unpacking the entire file.
