fibrózisok
Fibrózis, or fibrosis, is a medical term describing the abnormal formation of fibrous tissue, also known as scar tissue, in an organ or tissue. This process occurs when the body experiences injury, inflammation, or chronic irritation. The body's natural healing response involves producing collagen and other proteins to repair the damage. However, in fibrotic conditions, this repair process becomes dysregulated, leading to an excessive accumulation of this fibrous connective tissue.
The excess fibrous tissue can disrupt the normal structure and function of the affected organ or tissue.
The causes of fibrosis are diverse and can include autoimmune diseases, infections, exposure to certain toxins
