Fibrilleinä is a Finnish term that translates to "as fibrils" or "in fibrils." It describes a structural arrangement where something is organized into thin, thread-like filaments or fibers. This term is often encountered in biological and materials science contexts.

In biology, fibril formation is a key process in the assembly of various cellular structures. For instance, proteins can aggregate and fold into fibrillar structures. This can be a normal functional process, such as the formation of collagen fibrils in connective tissues, which provide structural support and strength. Collagen fibrils are triple helices of collagen protein molecules that arrange themselves in a highly ordered, parallel fashion, contributing to the tensile strength of tissues like tendons and skin.

However, fibril formation can also be associated with pathological conditions.
