Baseboards, or lábazati fejlécre, cover the joint between the wall and the floor, protecting the wall from scuffs and concealing expansion gaps. Crown molding, or mennyezeti fejlécre, is placed at the junction of the wall and ceiling, adding a decorative finish and often hiding imperfections.
