ergyorsulás

Ergyorsulás is a Hungarian term that literally means the acceleration of energy. In common usage it describes processes that increase the energy content of a system or raise the rate at which energy is supplied to it. It is not a formal term in physics, but it is used in engineering, energy discussions, and popular science to convey the idea of rapid energy change or energetic ramping.

In physics, the rate of energy change is described by power, P = dE/dt, the derivative of energy with respect to time. A rapid increase in energy delivery corresponds to a high power input, whereas simply having a large amount of stored energy does not by itself imply acceleration. Therefore ergyorsulás is more accurately about how quickly energy is supplied or released, rather than a distinct physical quantity.
