Epämetalliatomit constitute a fundamental category of chemical elements characterized by distinct properties that differentiate them from metals. These elements generally exhibit lower electronegativity and ionization energies compared to metals, meaning they have a weaker tendency to attract electrons and a greater ease in losing them.
