enessive
The enessive, commonly discussed in linguistic literature as the ennessive or, more often, the inessive, is a locative grammatical case found in Finnic languages such as Finnish and Estonian, as well as in related Uralic languages. It marks a static location inside or within something, roughly corresponding to the English preposition in a sense of “in” or “inside.” The enessive is used with nouns to indicate where something exists rather than where it moves to.
In Finnish and Estonian, the enessive is expressed by suffixes attached to the noun, with forms varying
