energiatöötlemise
Energiatöötlemine, or energy processing, refers to the series of transformations and conversions that energy undergoes. This process begins with the extraction of raw energy sources, such as fossil fuels, renewable resources like solar or wind, or nuclear materials. These raw sources are then subjected to various methods to convert them into a usable form of energy. For example, coal is burned in a power plant to produce heat, which then generates steam to turn turbines, ultimately producing electricity. Solar energy is converted directly into electricity using photovoltaic panels or indirectly through concentrating solar power systems. Wind energy is harnessed by turbines that convert the kinetic energy of wind into mechanical energy, which is then converted into electricity.
The processed energy is then transported to consumers. Electricity, for instance, is transmitted through power grids.
