Enenwords are a term used in speculative linguistics and puzzle literature to describe a class of words formed by symmetrical reduplication around a core root, typically using the syllable en as both a prefix and a suffix. The concept is primarily a thought experiment or a feature in constructed language exercises and is not widely attested in natural languages.

Word formation tends to follow a simple pattern: en + ROOT + en. This yields forms such as enen (when the root is empty), enlexen (ROOT = lex), entoneen (ROOT = tone), and engoren (ROOT = gor).
