encefalitid
Encefalitid is a medical term referring to the inflammation of the brain. This inflammation can affect different parts of the brain, including the brain tissue itself, the meninges (the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord), or both. Encefalitid can be caused by a variety of factors, most commonly viral infections. Viruses such as herpes simplex virus, West Nile virus, and enteroviruses are known culprits. In some cases, bacterial or fungal infections can also lead to encefalitid. Autoimmune conditions, where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own brain cells, are another significant cause. Less frequently, certain medications or other medical conditions can trigger this inflammation.
Symptoms of encefalitid can vary widely depending on the severity and location of the inflammation. Common
