elektronbærere
Elektronbærere is a term used in physics and electronics to refer to particles that carry an electric charge, allowing for the flow of electric current. In most solid materials, these charge carriers are electrons. When an electric field is applied across a conductor, these free electrons are set in motion, creating a current. The movement of these electrons is not usually a simple, direct path; they collide with atoms within the material, leading to resistance.
However, in some materials, particularly semiconductors, charge can also be carried by other entities called "holes."
