Elektrofiillin, also known as electrofishing, is a method used to locate and capture fish in bodies of water. The technique involves the use of an electric current to stun or kill fish, making them easier to catch. The process begins with the construction of a simple electric circuit, where a battery or generator provides the power. Two electrodes, typically made of metal, are placed in the water, with one connected to the positive terminal and the other to the negative terminal. When the circuit is closed, an electric current flows through the water, creating an electric field.
Fish are sensitive to electric fields and will often swim towards the positive electrode, where they are
