eksponentiaalseks is the Finnish word for "exponential". In mathematics, an exponential function is a function of the form f(x) = a^x, where the base 'a' is a positive constant other than 1, and 'x' is the variable. The behavior of exponential functions is characterized by rapid growth or decay. As the input 'x' increases, the output of an exponential function either increases or decreases by a multiplicative factor, rather than an additive one.
