Ehitusõigused (Estonian for "construction rights") refer to the legal framework that governs the planning, design, and execution of building projects within Estonia. They encompass a range of regulatory standards, permits, and technical specifications imposed by local and national authorities to ensure safety, environmental protection, and architectural quality. The concept is rooted in the Estonian Building Act and related regulations, which outline the obligations of developers, architects, engineers, and property owners.

To obtain ehitusõigused, applicants must submit detailed construction plans to the municipal building authority. These plans undergo rigorous review, including checks for compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, fire safety requirements, and environmental impact assessments. The approval process may involve several stakeholder consultations, particularly when the proposed development affects heritage sites or protected natural areas.
