Egyenáramúvá is a Hungarian term that translates to "become direct current" or "convert to direct current" in English. It refers to the process of transforming alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). This conversion is a fundamental concept in electronics and electrical engineering, as many electronic devices, such as those powered by batteries or sensitive internal components, require direct current to function correctly.

The most common method for achieving this conversion is through rectification. Rectification is typically performed using diodes, which are semiconductor devices that allow electric current to flow in only one direction.
