eMARs, or electronic Medication Administration Records, are digital systems designed to track and document the administration of medications in healthcare settings. If any discrepancies are detected, the system alerts the healthcare professional before the medication is given. Documentation of administration, including the time and the administrator's identification, is recorded electronically in real-time.
