eIDASlainsäädännön
eIDASlainsäädäntö, or the eIDAS Regulation, is a European Union law that establishes a framework for electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions. Its full title is Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market. The primary goal of eIDAS is to ensure that people and businesses can securely and conveniently use their national electronic identification schemes when interacting with public services in other EU member states. It also aims to boost the use of trust services, such as electronic signatures, seals, and time stamps, by providing a legal framework that guarantees their validity across the EU.
The regulation defines different levels of assurance for electronic identification: substantial and high. This allows for
