distribuïda

Distribuïda is the feminine singular form of the Catalan participle distribuït and also an adjective meaning distributed or spread out. It is derived from the verb distribuir and comes from Latin distributus. The word is written with a diaeresis on the ï to indicate that the i and the following u form separate syllables (dis-tri-buï-da).

In usage, distribuïda describes data, resources, or entities that are allocated across multiple parts, locations, or units. It is common in geography, logistics, statistics, computing, and network design.
