Internationally, disaster prevention is guided by frameworks such as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, which emphasizes understanding risk, strengthening governance, investing in resilience, and improving preparedness. Ongoing challenges include climate change, rapid urbanization, data gaps, and limited resources, underscoring the need for sustained investment and cross-sector collaboration.
