Dimensionslength is a term that appears in some contexts to describe the length along a particular dimension in a multi-dimensional object or data structure. It is not a standard mathematical constant, but rather a descriptive label that may be used as a variable name or field in datasets, programming interfaces, or documentation.

In geometry and physics, the dimension length refers to the measure of extent along a chosen axis. For a line segment, the length equals the distance between endpoints; for a rectangular prism, the dimension lengths are its side lengths along each axis. In higher dimensions, a hyperrectangle has a set of dimension lengths, one for each axis, which together determine its size and shape.

In computing and data analysis, the dimension length often corresponds to the size of an axis of an array or tensor. For an array with shape (d1, d2, ..., dn), the dimension lengths are d1, d2, ..., dn. The total number of elements is the product of the dimension lengths. For example, a 3D array with shape (4, 5, 6) has dimension lengths 4, 5, and 6, and contains 4 × 5 × 6 = 120 elements.

The term is largely synonymous with axis length, size of a dimension, or shape components, though dimensionslength as a single word is not widely standardized.
