dialami

Dialami is an Indonesian verb form meaning “to be experienced” or “to undergo.” It is the passive voice of the root verb alami and is used to describe events, conditions, or experiences that happen to someone or something, rather than actions performed by them.

Formation and grammar. Dialami is formed by attaching the passive prefix di- to the root alami. In a sentence, the experiencer is typically the subject of the clause, and the thing experienced may stand as the object of the experience; the agent, if stated, is introduced with oleh.
