democratiassa

Democratiassa is not a standard Finnish word. The normative Finnish form meaning “in democracy” is demokratiassa, the inessive case of the noun demokrati a (democracy). The spelling democratiassa is generally regarded as a misspelling or nonstandard variant, often arising in non-Finnish texts or by readers unfamiliar with Finnish orthography. In Finnish grammar, the inessive case (suffix -ssa/-ssä) marks location or state, so demokratiassa translates roughly to “in democracy” or “in a democracy.”
