defibrillaattorijärjestelmä
A defibrillator system is a medical device designed to deliver an electrical shock to the heart. This shock can correct certain life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, such as ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, which prevent the heart from pumping blood effectively. When a person experiences sudden cardiac arrest, their heart rhythm may become chaotic. A defibrillator analyzes the heart's electrical activity and, if a shockable rhythm is detected, delivers a controlled electrical current.
There are several types of defibrillator systems. Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are designed for public use
Defibrillator systems are crucial components of emergency medical services and are increasingly found in public spaces
