Dallamot is a traditional textile weaving technique practiced by the fictional Dallan people of the Dalorian Highlands. It is characterized by complex geometric patterns formed by supplementary weft weaving and a distinctive color palette. The technique yields ceremonial fabrics and everyday cloths.

Etymology: The name dallamot is thought to derive from the Dallan terms dala meaning thread and mot meaning pattern or motif. Earliest references appear in late archival records from the 17th century in regional chronicles, though the practice is older.

Construction: Dallamot weaving uses a backstrap or floor loom, cotton or wool fibers, and natural dyes. Weavers build interlocking motifs with multiple colors, using supplementary weft to create raised patterns. Typical pieces range from 50x70 cm to large banners.
