considerada

Considerada is the feminine form of the past participle of the verb considerar in Spanish and Portuguese. It functions as an adjective and as part of passive or semi-passive constructions, indicating that something has been thought about, examined, or regarded in a certain way. The word derives from Latin considerare, which carried a similar sense of looking at closely or reflecting.

In Spanish, considerado/considerada can describe people, objects, or ideas. When used to describe a person, it often means "thoughtful" or "kind" as in una persona muy considerada. When describing a thing or decision, it frequently appears in phrases such as la opción considerada por el comité or una decisión bien considerada, meaning that the option or decision has been carefully considered. The feminine form is persegable with noun gender and number (las opciones consideradas).

In Portuguese, the feminine form igual is considerada, with similar uses. It can mean "considerate" or "well-regarded" when describing a person, as in uma pessoa muito considerada, or "considered" or "taken into account" for plans or proposals, as in uma opção considerada pelo comitê or uma decisão bem considerada. Portuguese also uses the related noun consideração (and its synonyms) to express the act or quality of consideration.

Both languages allow the word to participate in passive constructions with ser/foi: "La carta fue considerada" (Spanish) or "A carta foi considerada" (Portuguese), indicating that something was evaluated or regarded by an agent.
