conjuguje
Conjuguje is not a standard word in the vocabulary of major Romance languages. It resembles the Spanish verb conjugar, meaning "to conjugate," and appears occasionally as a nonstandard form or a diacritics-stripped variant. In standard conjugation, the first-person preterite singular is conjugué in Spanish, with an acute accent on the final e; many authoritative sources do not recognize conjuguje as a valid form. In other languages, similar forms exist: conjugué in French as the past participle (conjugué), and conjugue in Portuguese as the present subjunctive. The form conjuguje, when encountered, is typically considered noncanonical rather than a distinct lexical item.
