Cryotherapy involves freezing the lesions with liquid nitrogen, which can cause them to fall off. Surgical removal may be necessary for large or multiple lesions that do not respond to other treatments.

Prevention of condylitis involves practicing safe sex, including the use of condoms and limiting the number of sexual partners. Regular screening for HPV can also help to detect and treat the infection early. It is important to note that condylitis does not always cause symptoms, and some people may be infected without knowing it. Regular STI testing is recommended for individuals who are sexually active.
