Conceptualismoa is a term encountered primarily in Basque-language discourse to denote conceptualism. The form combines the base noun conceptualismo with the Basque definite ending -a, yielding conceptualismoa to mean “the conceptualism” or a Basque-language reference to the doctrine or practice. The term is not widely documented in English sources, and in English the corresponding concepts are usually called conceptualism (philosophy of universals and mental content) or conceptual art (artistic practice emphasizing ideas over material form).

In philosophy, conceptualismoa would be used for discussions about the primacy of concepts in cognition and representation, reminiscent of medieval conceptualism, which held universals reside in the mind as concepts rather than in external things (realism) or names alone (nominalism).
