ciltte

Ciltte is a Turkish linguistic form, most often encountered as the locative form of the noun cilt, meaning skin. In Turkish, locative forms express location at or on a surface, and ciltte translates approximately to on the skin or in the skin depending on context. The form is used in medical, anatomical, and descriptive writing to specify location on the body.

Ciltte is created by adding the locative suffix to the noun; Turkish locative endings have two primary variants, de/da and te/ta, chosen according to vowel harmony. Because the root cilt contains the front vowel i, the locative form takes te, yielding ciltte.

In typical usage, ciltte appears in collocations rather than as a standalone noun. For example, ciltte kızarıklık or ciltte lezyonlar describe phenomena located on the skin. It is not a separate lexical entry but a bound form used in context to express location.

Aside from its grammatical sense, there is no widely recognized topic formally named ciltte in English-language sources. In other contexts, it could appear as a proper noun, brand name, or place name, but such uses would be rare and not part of a standard reference work.
