chiqadigan

Chiqadigan is a present participle form in Uzbek, derived from the verb chiqmoq (to go out, to leave). It functions as an attributive adjective, used to describe a noun in terms of an action related to leaving or emerging. The form conveys a sense of ongoing, habitual, or characteristic action associated with the described noun.

Formally, chiqadigan is created by adding the suffix -adigan to the verb stem chiq-. As a participle, it can modify a noun directly or be used within a participial clause. For example, chiqadigan odamlar means “the people who are leaving” or “the people leaving.” The participle behaves like an ordinary adjective in Uzbek grammar, not inflecting for gender, and it agrees with the noun in number.

Chiqadigan is related to other verb-derived forms. The past participle chiqqan expresses a completed action (“who has left/come out”), while other forms like chiqayotgan or chiqish (the noun for the act of leaving) serve different aspects of aspectual meaning.
