CenterCrop is a graphics processing technique used to resize and crop images by expanding or shrinking them around their centers while maintaining their original aspect ratios.

The process of center cropping involves aligning the image within a designated area, ensuring that the entire image is visible within this space. This is typically done using an oval or rectangular shape that contains the center point of the image. The image is then resized to match the dimensions of the shape, while the shape's size is adjusted to be as large as possible without exceeding the specified boundaries.

The shape is often represented mathematically using a predetermined percent value for percentage crop factor, and is calculated as (shape width/shape height). This value determines the new shape size which respects the image's aspect ratio.
