bloedsamenstelling
Bloedsamenstelling refers to the qualitative and quantitative makeup of blood. Blood is a fluid connective tissue composed of several key components. Plasma, the liquid matrix, constitutes about 55% of blood volume and is primarily water (about 92%). It also contains dissolved proteins like albumin, globulins, and fibrinogen, as well as electrolytes, hormones, nutrients (glucose, amino acids, lipids), and waste products (urea, carbon dioxide).
The remaining 45% of blood volume consists of cellular components, collectively known as the formed elements.
Finally, thrombocytes, or platelets, are small, irregular cell fragments crucial for hemostasis, the process of blood
