Binäärikoodiksi is the Finnish term for binary code. Binary code is a number system that uses only two symbols, typically 0 and 1, to represent data and instructions in computing. Each digit in a binary code is called a bit, which is short for binary digit. These bits are the fundamental building blocks of all digital information.
In binary code, each position of a digit has a value that is a power of 2.
Computers use binary code because electronic circuits are easily designed to represent two states: on or off,
